IPI Singapore welcomes Michael Goh as CEO as Organisation Enters Next Chapter of Growth

SINGAPORE – September 01, 2025, IPI Singapore, a subsidiaryof Enterprise Singapore dedicated to empowering enterprises growth through technology and innovation, announced its leadership transition today. Mr Wong Lup Wai will retire from his role as Chief Executive Officer on 1 September 2025. He will be succeeded by Mr Michael Goh, the current Chief Operating Officer.
Honouring a Legacy ofInnovation
Since joining IPI Singapore in 2019, LupWai has been instrumental in shaping the organisation's strategic direction. Under his leadership, IPI Singapore enhanced the Innovation Advisory Programme, expanded strategic partnerships with international and local agencies, and promoted the adoption of technology by Singapore enterprises. He also strengthened the leadership bench and led the team to achieve impact.

"I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together, and I am confident that Michael is the right leader to guide the organisation in its next chapter.”
Charting the Future:Introducing Michael Goh as the New CEO
Mr Michael Goh, a founding member of IPI Singaporeand its current Chief Operating Officer, brings over 19 years of experience in intellectual property, business and technology management, and commercialisation. His team has helped enterprises across sectors such as manufacturing, medtech, food, digital and sustainability to unlock growth opportunities through strategic innovation. To better position IPI Singapore as a strategic enabler for enterprise innovation, Michael has initiated organisational development, digital transformation and capability-building efforts. He has also contributed to multiple advisory panels locally and regionally, including SHELL Startup Engine, Hong Kong University’s RAISe+ projects and the Technical Committee on Agritech and Agrifood Production.
