Cell ID Pte Ltd
'Innovation in Functional Printing for Diagnostic Applications'
It is a dream of many healthcare providers to be able to bring affordable and accessible diagnostic care to the bedside and the community. Point-of-care tests provide quicker results for diagnosing and facilitating more efficient patient-care. One of the key challenges faced is affordability. CELL ID, a local start-up with in-depth expertise in electronics and manufacturing, recognised the challenges and potential opportunity it could address. Through intense R&D and collaboration with external partners, it has successfully redefined the boundaries of traditional printing technology and developed an affordable roll-to-roll printable platform upon which various diagnostics kits could be reproduced with the economies of scale of conventional printing technology. Xander will share Cell ID’s open innovation journey and how it can open up new prospects in completely new application areas.
